KATHLEEN MCDONALD, DIRECTOR OF IMMIGRATION AT WILSON & ASSOCIATES, DESIGNATED AN ABOGADA CONSULTORA IN ARKANSAS BY MEXICO’S SECRETARY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
LITTLE ROCK (TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2019) – Mexican Consul Rodolfo Quilantán Arenas announced that attorney Kathleen McDonald will serve as an “Abogada Consultora” for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Government of Mexico within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Mexico in Arkansas. As a consulting attorney, Kathleen may provide legal advice and representation for Mexican citizens in the United States.
The Consulates General of Mexico provide legal protection for Mexican citizens who travel and reside in the United States – a population that is vulnerable to abuse, fraud, threats, retaliation, and discrimination, and often does not report abuses to authorities or seek assistance.
To better serve this community, the Consulates of Mexico in the United States draw upon the expertise of local professionals to provide specialized legal advice and representation to the Mexican community in the US.
Consul Quilantán Arenas presented Immigration Attorney Kathleen McDonald with a certificate from Mexico’s Foreign Secretary, signed by the Undersecretary for North America, that specifies her new designation which will last until 2024.
Ms. McDonald is the Director of the Immigration Practice at Wilson and Associates. Current President of the William R. Overton Inn of Court, she also serves as Chair of the Immigration Section of the Arkansas Bar Association. She is an active member of Rotary Downtown Little Rock “Club 99” where she is Chair of the Police and Fire Awards Committee. She is honored to serve the Consulate General of Mexico in Little Rock, and looks forward to providing her expertise to the Mexican community in Arkansas.
