Kathleen M. McDonald is the Director of the firm’s Immigration Department where her experience handling employer-sponsored and family-sponsored immigration matters helps broaden the services available to the firm’s corporate and community clients. Prior to joining Wilson, Ms. McDonald was the managing partner of Beacon Legal Group after spending several years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Sixth Judicial District of Arkansas.

Ms. McDonald received her bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and in French from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she was a graduate of the Donaghey Scholars Program, later earning her juris doctorate from the William H. Bowen School of Law.

Involved for several years with organizations and entities focused on matters local and international, Ms. McDonald has devoted significant time organizations such as the Arkansas Bar Association (House of Delegates, chair of International and Immigration Law Section), Downtown Little Rock Rotary “Club 99” (chair of Police & Fire Awards Committee), and the Judge William R. Overton Inn of Court (President 2018-2019, Barrister). Ms. McDonald frequently teaches continuing legal education classes in the areas of immigration and social media.
